Safety support (eld) in trucking company

American company is looking for responsible, dedicated professional with experience to join our SAFETY team.As our Safety Manager, your role will involve ensuring that our drivers and with Hours of Service regulations.



Your responsibilities:

- Directing, monitoring, and reviewing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with DOT
 regulations.

-Providing comprehensive safety training and orientations for new hires

- Tracking and reporting weekly and monthly safety incidents and DOT violations.

- Coordinating medical card and license renewals for DOT drivers.

- Undertaking other tasks to enhance the overall success of the business.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

- Respond to safety incidents, including near misses and accidents
-Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, and corrective actions
- Provide safety training and education with safety regulations
- Monitor and track compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety within the organization 

Job

Requirements:

- Strong analytical skills to identify safety issues and develop effective solutions Excellent communication and negotiation skills 

- Knowledge of English (B2-C1)

- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new challenges
-Capable of working under time pressure and in a stressful environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for report writing and data analysis

- Experience in developing and implementing safety programs will be a benefit
